Safety Refreshment Coffee Breaks are held in the picnic shed on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays during the summer and fall, late May through mid-October. We also offer an indoor program during the winter months.
Vermont non-profit groups provide coffee, drinks, and snacks for a donation.
The motorist aid refreshment break program was officially sanctioned by the Vermont State Legislature in 2003 by the passage of Act 56 in the Transportation section of the Capitol Bill.
