The Capital Region Visitors Center is staffed with courteous, knowledgeable travel professionals who will assist you with directions, where to stay and dine, and current happenings.

Find information on maple sugarhouses, cheesemakers, breweries, wineries, farmers' markets, skiing, golfing, camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, boating, bicycling, music, theater, museums, galleries, antiquing, lodging, dining, bookstores and shopping.

This center serves as information provider not only for visitors to Montpelier but to people who need information within the state complex.

Visitors traveling east or west on Route 2 can easily access the center by taking Main Street or Bailey Avenue to State Street.

The Capital Region Visitors Center was developed to boost the economic development of Montpelier to bring visitors off I-89 to the downtown.

The visitor's center was retrofitted in 1998.
